Job Description
Cimarron is seeking a senior-levelCivil Engineerto support the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of the Sentinel (formerly GBSD) program. Cimarron provides engineering and technical support to Bechtel for the design construction and integration of the Sentinel launch systems at locations to include Vandenberg AFB CA F.E. Warren AFB WY Malmstrom AFB MT and Minot AFB ND. Sentinel is a vital US Air Force program that will recapitalize the nations aging ground-based leg of the nuclear triad - the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). This is an on-site position that offers a 9X80 work schedule (i.e. every other Friday off) paid overtime and an outstanding work/life balance. For candidates not local to the Ogden area a relocation allowance can be provided.

Key Duties:
- Development of grading backfill design and drawings.
- Road design and design documents.
- Foundation design and drawings.
- Assist with boring oversight site inspection and review of existing facilities.
- Perform formal calculations and drawings.
- Review vendor information from subcontractors and integrate it into the design solution.
- Execute to schedule requirements while maintaining a high degree of quality in work product.
- Coordinate closely with other technical disciplines in planning and executing work as an integrated team.
Requirements
Required Skills Experience and Education:
- Due to facility security requirements only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance in a reasonable timeframe.
- This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid unexpired Real ID-compliant drivers license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. If you are unsure whether your ID is Real ID-compliant please check for the star symbol in the upper portion of your drivers license or state ID.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs VISIO and other standard computer programs.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to utilize office automation tools effectively.
- Knowledge of industry and regulatory guides codes and standards as well as Bechtel Corporate guides and standards.
- Relevant experience includes related specifications.
- Understanding of the application of Civil engineering design principles.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
Desired Skills Experience and Education:
- Registered Professional Engineer(Civil Engineering).
- Experience working with procedures that meet quality assurance programs such as ISO 9000.
- Prior experience working with government agencies preferably the Department of Defense.
- Experience with use or knowledge of Revit and/or InRoads.
- Intermediate understanding of developing CSI Masterformat specifications or SpecsIntact.
- Design experience with Unified Facilities Criteria and the Whole Building Design Guide.
- Experience in complex excavation approaches and construction execution field experience.
- Master of Sciencein Civil or related Engineering from an accredited university.
