Aquatics Assistant Manager Customer Service & Administration
British Swim School of Arlington & South Grand Prairie
Part-time September-April with full-time potential May-August Mix of daytime office hours & evening/weekend pool shifts
Our mission is clear: stop drownings and create confident happy swimmers as quickly and safely as possible. As we scale to multiple pools in Arlington & Grand Prairie we need a hands-on leader who can (1) keep a pool running smoothly every shift and (2) own the back-office tasks that make the customer experience seamless. Youll replace many of the owners current duties and become their eyes and ears at one location while helping drive the metrics on our weekly scorecard
Pool Operations ( 50 %)
Act as on-deck supervisor 34 evenings per week; resolve instructor parent or facility issues in real time.
Make meaningful connections with parents and students.
Enforce British Swim School safety protocols and water-survival curriculum.
Step in to teach or be the lifeguard on duty when gaps appear.
Encourage reviews and referrals during parent interactions
Administrative & Customer Service ( 30 %)
Process enrollments transfers cancels and makeup requests in Jackrabbit.
Answer calls texts and emails during office hours (MonFri 12 pm4 pm) and log all interactions.
Call text or email every new web/Facebook/phone inquiry within 15 minutes.
Follow our proven British Swim School sales script to close the sale.
Log all contacts and track lead stage in the CRM so we can measure conversion rates.
People & Training ( 15 %)
Build staff schedules track time-off requests and approve pay hours.
Lead monthly in-service;
Coach instructors on lesson quality and parent communication.
Maintain digital files for lifeguard/CPR credentials and schedule renewals.
Community Events ( 5 %)
Represent the school at local events; gather photos and stories for marketing.
Required Qualifications
High-school diploma or GED and 18 years of age.
2 years in customer-facing roles; 1 year supervising or leading a small team.
Solid computer skills: Gmail spreadsheets and scheduling software (we train on Jackrabbit).
Evening and weekend availability; reliable transport between Grand Prairie and Arlington.
Comfortable in and around water; able to lift 25 lb and be on your feet for long periods.
Preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish.
Aquatics or youth-program experience.
Previous teaching experience
Familiar with AI tools
Current Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid (or willingness to certify within 30 days).

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. Its helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job but its not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
