This firm offers a very competitive bonus structure exceptional retention rates and a strong reputation for work-life balance!We are seeking a Litigation Attorney with substantive business litigation experience in a law-firm setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Pleadings & Motion Practice: Draft and file complaints answers motions and briefs in state and federal courts.
  • Discovery Management: Prepare interrogatories requests for production subpoenas; review and organize documents; oversee e-discovery workflows.
  • Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth case-law research; craft legal memoranda and trial exhibits.
  • Client & Opposing-Counsel Liaison: Maintain clear client communications manage outside-counsel relationships and coordinate with court clerks.
  • Court Appearances & Hearings: Attend and argue routine motions; support partners at depositions and hearings.
  • Case Strategy: Collaborate in strategy sessions develop timeline and budget estimates and track critical deadlines.
Required Qualifications
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; admission to the Florida Bar in good standing
  • Minimum of 24 years of litigation experience at a law firm including 1.5 years of civil litigation outside government roles
  • Proficiency with Florida Rules of Procedure and federal-court practice
  • Strong drafting advocacy and oral-argument skills
  • Excellent organizational ability and judgment in managing multiple matters
