- Pleadings & Motion Practice: Draft and file complaints answers motions and briefs in state and federal courts.
- Discovery Management: Prepare interrogatories requests for production subpoenas; review and organize documents; oversee e-discovery workflows.
- Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth case-law research; craft legal memoranda and trial exhibits.
- Client & Opposing-Counsel Liaison: Maintain clear client communications manage outside-counsel relationships and coordinate with court clerks.
- Court Appearances & Hearings: Attend and argue routine motions; support partners at depositions and hearings.
- Case Strategy: Collaborate in strategy sessions develop timeline and budget estimates and track critical deadlines.
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; admission to the Florida Bar in good standing
- Minimum of 24 years of litigation experience at a law firm including 1.5 years of civil litigation outside government roles
- Proficiency with Florida Rules of Procedure and federal-court practice
- Strong drafting advocacy and oral-argument skills
- Excellent organizational ability and judgment in managing multiple matters
