Job Description

Position: Front of House Assistant

Employment Type: Part-Time

Payment: Hourly Rate

Location: On-site (10 Stratton St Mayfair London UK)

Schedule: 24h / week minimum may increase Reporting to: House Manager

The Role: Front of House Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated organised and personable Front of House Assistant to join our dedicated team and support our House Manager Petra. This pivotal role is the face of Common Purpose Club providing a warm welcome and seamless experience for all who enter our doors. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the club fostering a positive atmosphere and supporting both our members and internal team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Front of House Operations

Warmly greet and welcome all members guests and visitors ensuring a positive first impression.

Manage building access including the issuance and troubleshooting of access cards.

Ensure the food and beverage area is consistently well-stocked impeccably clean and aesthetically pleasing.

Prepare and serve shakes and coffee as required maintaining high standards of hygiene.

Maintain overall cleanliness of the front of house area including washing dishes.

Monitor and promptly respond to communications across various channels including dedicated email inboxes (@FoH @Petra @HQ) WhatsApp Slack and phone calls.

and Member Support

Serve as the primary point of contact for Common Purpose Members and their Personal Assistants CP Team members Freelancers and their clients new leads and general enquiries.

Provide comprehensive support and assistance to the CP Team and Freelancers addressing their needs efficiently.

Offer dedicated support and assistance to our 140 Common Purpose Members ensuring their needs are met.

Handle new leads and enquiries arrange club show-arounds and facilitate initial sessions for prospective members.

Onboard new members ensuring a smooth and welcoming setup process.

Manage session scheduling and optimize the clubs diary for maximum efficiency and member satisfaction.

Build and maintain strong lasting relationships with both members and staff contributing to a cohesive community.

3. Payments & Memberships

Accurately process payments for retail products available at the club.

Set up new memberships for incoming members.

Assist freelance practitioners with their membership and package inquiries.

Process payments for additional sessions booked by members or clients.

4. Administrative & Reporting Duties

Manage and update CRM diaries ensuring accurate scheduling for ad hoc bookings and gym opening/closing cover.

Coordinate and track essential club data including Summer/Winter trackers monthly surge sessions and the leads tracker.

Compile and distribute regular reports including weekly corporate schedule reports and weekly reports designed to support trainers and contribute to achieving desired average frequency.

5. Director Support

Provide personal assistant support to the directors (Sam Tiago and Dan) as needed.

Assist with client correspondence ensuring timely and professional communication.

Manage and maintain directors diaries including scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings.

Prepare and compile reports and other administrative tasks to support the directors operations.

6. Club Operations Liaison

Act as the first point of contact for external partners and services including Security and Reception (10 Stratton Street) CRM support Gym Access queries Cleaners and general enquiries.

Conduct regular stock checks and manage orders for food and beverage supplies.

Who We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate will be a proactive detail-oriented individual with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. You should be a natural problem-solver capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service and contributing to a positive community atmosphere is essential. A genuine passion for health and fitness is also essential. Experience in a front-of-house administrative or customer service role particularly within a club hospitality or fitness setting would be highly advantageous.
