Title:
Junior EngineerJuniorE3Engineer - KBR is seeking a highly motivated self-starter adaptable to a fast-paced exciting environment as aJunior Engineer to support theElectromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3)contract atNAS Patuxent River MD. This work is with a high operational tempo team working on innovative technologies to maintain air and sea superiority in support of theE3Aircraft Division.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In this position you will serve as a Junior Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer providing support to the Mission Systems Team at the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO).
- This position will provide technical and management support for new development relating toE3requirements qualificationverificationcertification testing andspectrum managementfor the F-35 Air System.
- Critical to this role is the ability to facilitate teamwork between the IPTs Directors NAVAIR and JPO functional competencies fleet customers Partner Countries Foreign Military Sales Customers and contractor organizations to ensure integration of all new hardware and software systems will meet customer expectations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Experience:0-5 years of engineering experience. Experience working in a team with review and preparation of engineering and technical analyses reports procedures or other technical documentation.
Required Education: Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an institution with an ABET accredited engineering program. BS inElectrical Engineeringis preferred.
Security Clearance Requirement:Secret OR able to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship.
Scheduled Weekly Hours:40 hours/week
Compensation:$75000 -95000.The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates knowledge skills abilities contract affordability and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:KBR may offer bonuses commissions or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus relocation benefits short-term incentives long-term incentives or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
