Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles diagnose problems perform quality repairs and maintenance work and more!
- Inspect and test-drive vehicles test components and systems use diagnostic tools and special service equipment to diagnose problems
- Provide estimate of time and parts needed for repair/maintenance
- Repair automotive systems including engine transmission electrical steering suspension brakes air conditioning and more
- Learn new information in training sessions
- Keep shop neat and account for dealership owned tools
- Other duties may be assigned according to skill level and certifications
Requirements
- Automotive service/repair technician experience is preferred
- VW / Audi certified is preferred but not required
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team participant
- Versatile in skills and tasks performed
- Good communication and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license and a good driving record
