Job Description

This is a fulltime 2-Year Fixed Term Contract position.

We currently have an exciting role for you to join our Development Services Team.

Key responsibilities of the position include:
  • Investigating breaches of the Planning Development and Infrastructure Act pertaining to mandatory building notifications building indemnity insurance certificates of occupancy and essential safety provisions and issue expiation notices as required.
  • Initiating appropriate and proportionate enforcement action in accordance with Council procedures and policies.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of educational programs to increase industry awareness.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Experience in a compliance regulatory role or similar is desirable.
  • Effective negotiation skills to deliver positive outcomes to the community in situations where there may be conflict
