About the Role

• Prepare and serve daily meals and snacks that meet the nutritional needs of children aged 05

• Design and rotate seasonal menus aligned with dietary requirements and allergies

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety standards

• Oversee kitchen stock levels food ordering and budget management

• Ensure documentation and food safety records are up to date

• Collaborate with educators to support mealtime routines and positive food culture

What Youll Need

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent

• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

• Experience working in a childcare environment

• Strong understanding of allergies and food intolerances

• VIC Working with Children Check (Employee)

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Passion for healthy eating and working around children
