Convergentz a division of the Hunton Group in Houston TX has a new and exciting opportunity for you to join our growing team as a Security and Low Voltage Service Sales Account Manager. In this role the selected candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new service sales opportunities in the security and low voltage systems industry. This includes maintaining relationships with existing clients generating service agreements upselling additional services and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The role requires knowledge of low voltage systems including access control video surveillance intrusion detection fire alarms and structured cabling. This role is primarily field-based with regular visits to client locations. Occasional office work and attendance at trade shows or company events may be required.

Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new service sales opportunities through cold calling networking and referrals.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients by understanding their service needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Generate and present service agreements proposals and quotes for system maintenance upgrades and repairs.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and quotas.
- Collaborate with operations engineering and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
- Stay informed of industry trends technology developments and competitor offerings.
- Attend industry events trade shows and customer meetings as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in service sales preferably in security or low voltage industries.
- Strong understanding of low voltage systems such as CCTV access control intrusion detection fire alarms and structured cabling.
- Excellent customer service communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a sales pipeline and close deals effectively.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated goal-oriented and capable of working independently.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel locally to client sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Communications or a technical field.
- Familiarity with service contract structures and recurring revenue models.
- Certifications such as NICET BICSI or manufacturer-specific credentials.
