NEW PRODUCTION ENGINEER BASED IN BORDON.
Our client based in Bordon Hampshire specialise in the design and manufacture of highly complex power electronics for the Automotive and Industrial industry.
We are searching for a Production Engineer to join our clients dynamic team in Bordon. This is a hands-on engineering position ideal for someone with a passion for lean methodologies problem-solving and improving production systems.
Responsibilities as a Production Engineer in Bordon.
- Develop document and optimise manufacturing processes for efficiency quality and repeatability
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools (5S Kaizen VSM RCA)
- Collaborate with design quality and production teams for smooth new product introductions.
- Lead process validation activities including PFMEA capability studies and FAIs.
- Troubleshoot process issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Create and maintain process flows SOPs work instructions and control plans.
Requirements as a Production Engineer in Bordon.
- Degree or HND/HNC in Manufacturing Mechanical Electronics Engineering or related
- 5 years experience in a similar production/manufacturing engineering role (electronics/electromechanical preferred)
