Join Our Team as aTrade Compliance Officer Intern!
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern Trade Compliance Officer to join our Trade Compliance team within the Integrated Supply Chain function. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry focusing on customs compliance import/export operations and logistics support.
The role is primarily administrative supporting day-to-day compliance activities and helping ensure smooth and accurate customs processes.
What youll do:
- Manage customs broker archives and maintain organized records of import/export documentation
- Prepare statistical reports and assist in data analysis for Trade Compliance metrics
- Create internal documentation to support compliance procedures and audits
- Support ad hoc tasks assigned by the Trade Compliance team
- Assist the logistics team in building and maintaining databases related to shipments and customs flows
- Help ensure compliance with international customs regulation
What we need:
- English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Interest in data analytics reporting and working with spreadsheets
- Enjoys administrative tasks and has a keen eye for detail
- Interest in logistics supply chain or Trade Compliance (not required but valued)
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced cross-functional team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools is a plus
