Job Description
- Perform Export Control Classification for hardware software and technology
- Handle US re-export compliance tasks
- Execute further tasks e.g. De Minimis calculation Exporters License Administration
- Ensure data is up-to-date according to changes in related legislation Tariff Code Classification
- Tariff classification for Bosch materials all divisions
- Process requests and emails related to tariff classification including reference creation and explanation sheets
- Support tariff reviews and request missing technical documents via TDC
- Conduct quality checks and verify tariff codes for accuracy and compliance
- Ensure that data is up-to-date according to changes in related legislation
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in related major and 2 years experience with Export classifications or Associates degree in related major and 3 years experience with Export classifications
- Ability to read and analyze technical documents of Boschs product portfolio
- Self-learning and staying up-to-date on Tariff Codes and Export Control
- Classification at both international and national levels
- Collaborate with other departments such as Governance and R&D (e.g.) to ensure accurate TC & EC classification
- Ability to explain and persuade others of the classification results in a professional manner
