Job Title: Senior Executive - Purchase (Electronics Commodity)
Job Summary: The incumbent is responsible for managing procurement operations within the Electronic Manufacturing. The role requires a strong understanding of SAP systems procurement processes cross-functional coordination and data-driven decision-making. The candidate should be capable of working in a global environment and committed to continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute end-to-end procurement activities.
- Interpret business requirements and translate them into SAP processes providing feedback on system capabilities and limitations.
- Support internal teams in day-to-day procurement operations and promptly resolve raised issues.
- Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs) for tasks such as:
- Goods Receipt Notes (GRN)
- Inward Quality Control (IQC)
- Vendor Payments
- Blocked stock resolution
- Implement procurement best practices and system-based process improvements.
- Generate procurement metrics performance dashboards and forecasts using Excel Power BI or other analytical tools.
- Analyze historical and monthly data to support strategic sourcing and decision-making.
- Maintain strong functional knowledge in both Finance and Procurement domains.
- Operate efficiently in a global environment across multiple time zones.
- Deliver timely and accurate reports to management and project leads.
- Stay updated with the latest procurement tools trends and practices; demonstrate a willingness to continuously learn and adapt.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply Chain Business Administration or a related field.
- 4 6 years of experience in procurement preferably in Electronics Manufacturing.
- Proficient in SAP (MM module or related).
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel Power BI or equivalent tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a cross-functional multicultural environment.
- Exposure to global procurement practices and workflows.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. 4 6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in Electronics Manufacturing. Proficient in SAP (MM module or related). Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Power BI, or equivalent tools for data analysis and reporting. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a cross-functional, multicultural environment. Exposure to global procurement practices and workflows.
