We are seeking an energetic and strategic Product Owner (PO) to drive the vision development and delivery of our Data Platform solutions. As a key member of the Data Platform department you will collaborate with product leaders engineering and stakeholders to deliver innovative data products that empower our customers to unlock the value of their data enable analytics and accelerate digital transformation.
You will be responsible for understanding customer needs defining product requirements owning the product backlog health and ensuring the successful delivery of new features and enhancements including release readiness and enablement. You will operate as the critical interface between customers business stakeholders and technical teams ensuring our data platform solutions are robust scalable and user-centric.
What You Will Do
- Backlog & Roadmap Ownership
- Maintain and prioritize product backlog and roadmap in alignment with the business strategy.
- Partner with Product Management to break down epics into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Act as the voice of the customer in engineering discussions.
- Collaborate with Engineers UX designers Data Architects and QA specialists to define interaction flows and ensure functional completeness.
- Serve as an escalation point for product-related customer issues collaborating with support and services teams.
- Delivery & Release Readiness
- Drive feature signoff and release readiness including services security performance and support.
- Help with go-to-market and release coordination documentation and training enablement.
- Work closely with Product Management and Product Marketing to do Sales and Presales enablement on new features functionality and Roadmap
- Customer & Analytics Feedback Loop
- Leverage platform usage data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Engage with customers market experts and internal SMEs to refine roadmap direction.
- Build and run user councils and focus groups to gather feedback and validate product direction.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in Computer Science Data Science Engineering or a related field required.
- 3 years of experience as a Product Owner Product Manager or similar role in data platform analytics or cloud-based software environments.
- Experience managing multiple products/solutions or cross-functional teams in agile environments..
- Demonstrated ability to empathize with customers and users and translate needs into deliverable solutions.
- Hands-on experience with agile project and product management practices.
- Proven ability to write/refine features user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
- Familiarity with SDLC data engineering and cloud-native data solutions (e.g. AWS Azure GCP Snowflake Databricks etc.) is highly desirable.
- Ability to establish rapport credibility and influence across all levels of the organization.
- Proactive outcomes-driven mindset with strong self-management and high collaboration.
- Ability to interact with executives and senior management in customer accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with collaboration and productivity tools (e.g. Jira Confluence MS Office Slack etc.).
- Possessing general knowledge of AI agentic applications in data analytics is considered an asset.
- Experience with data modeling ETL/ELT pipelines or analytics is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce VSTS/Azure DevOps or similar tools is a plus.
- Accounting or finance knowledge is a plus but not required.
