About OO Events Founded in 2020 as the private-dining arm of the OO Hospitality Group OO Events delivers restaurant-level food and beverage to custom celebrations across the St. Louis area. These are bespoke menus not banquet food.
Given the nature of the events world applicants should be accustomed to menus that change regularly variation in venue set-up and accommodating special service requests from hosts. Flexibility and a positive attitude are key.
Daytime and nighttime hours are both available and we ideally prefer our team members to work a mixture of both. Weekend availability is strongly preferred for this position. However we do accommodate student schedules. Where You Fit In As an Events Bartender youll be making and serving cocktails that elevate each occasionwhether batching a signature spritz for 200 wedding guests or shaking classics one-by-one at an intimate chefs table in one of our two private dining rooms. Youll collaborate closely with chefs servers and event managers to ensure service flows smoothly and guests feel genuinely cared for.
What Youll Do Craft & Serve event-specific cocktails zero-proof options beer wine and coffee with speed and precision. Set Up & Break Down bars kegs draft systems and back-bar mise en place. Read the Room to create warm engaging guest interactionsand manage alcohol service responsibly. Support the Team by jumping in wherever needed. Maintain Standards for cleanliness equipment care cash handling and accurate POS entry.
Youll Bring... Must-Have 2 years behind a high-volume craft-focused bar Solid knowledge of classic builds & modern riffs Ability to batch keg and troubleshoot a draft system Calm professional presence in fast-changing settings
Nice-To-Have WSET Cicerone or BAR certification Prior banquet/event bartending experience Familiarity with Toast POS Interest in wine pairings & seasonal menus
Scheduling Flexible schedules with weekday weekend and evening availability neededespecially during peak entertaining season. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Work Environment Must be able to maneuver to all areas of event venues including food and beverage areas. Requires mobility prolonged standing bending stooping and reaching. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Must be able to tolerate varying levels of stress temperature illumination air quality and fatigue. Heavy customer contact required. Must be able to work nights and weekends.
