The City of Minot is accepting applications for the position of Building & Grounds Worker in the Property Maintenance Division of the Public Works Department with an application deadline of Wednesday August 13th 2025. This position is open to all qualified internal and external applicants.
All qualified applicants will be required to write the civil service exam for this position scheduled for Monday August 18th at 5:00 PM at the Minot Municipal Auditorium Room 201. (Enter through Door #2 on South Side)
Natureof Work
This is manual and semi-skilled custodial and grounds work in the care cleaning and maintenance of assigned city buildings and property. Please see attached job description for complete details.
EducationExperienceOther Requirements
- Graduation from high school and practical knowledge of or some experience in building maintenance and grounds keeping work; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Possession of a valid North Dakota driver license.
Compensationand Benets
- TheassignedsalaryrangeforBuilding & Grounds Workerunderthe2025 City of Minot Annual Pay Plan isaGrade 48 with an annual base salary range of$41492-$61595 with a starting hourly wage of $19.95 per hour.
