TheDirector of Performance Management is an essential leader in our work towardachieving consistently excellent results throughout our organization. TheDirector of Performance Management will be responsible for collaboratingclosely with the Chief Education Officer and Department of Student Achievementto develop a comprehensive set of network and school level academic goals and delivercorresponding data reports and visualizations. This key professional will alsocollaborate closely with the networks Senior Leadership Team to developcomprehensive data dashboards aligned with Aceros strategic priorities anddeliver reports to senior leadership board leadership and school leadershipon a monthly basis.
Core Responsibilities
Developkey performance indicators in concert with Acero Schools network and schoolleaders to track progress for students teachers schools centralizeddepartments and systems.
Provideintegration tracking and analysis of data regarding organizational functionsto improve effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
Developand publish monthly data dashboards at the network department and schoollevel.
Analyzeschool and student performance trends at all levels to provide insight intostrengths and areas for improvement.
Providefocused school performance management reports for internal and externalrequests (including funders school districts etc.).
Design/developprogram evaluation and research systems/procedures.
Consultwith staff on new projects to determine measures of success milestones etc.
Conductresearch on school performance and program effectiveness for internal review.
Overseethe work of data analyst to ensure accurate and timely reports effectivecommunication and consultation and clean well-maintained data systems.
Developand deliver trainings to school and organization leaders to empower them to useinformation and assessment systems more effectively.
Provideongoing technical assistance and troubleshooting for school and organizationleaders and teacher leaders to ensure that any problems or questions areresolved in a timely manner.
Collaboratewith External Affairs team to provide information charts and other resourcesto be shared with external stakeholders of Acero Schools.
Otherduties or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:Bachelors degree (required); Masters degree (strongly preferred)
Experiencemanaging comprehensive educational and operational data for a school system orsimilarly situated organization
Advancedcoursework or degree in statistical analysis (education statistics preferred)
Experienceusing statistical analysis software (SPSS) relational databases (SQL Server)and/or reporting tools (Tableau SharePoint etc.)
Outstandingability to work with others in a fast-paced results-oriented environment
Capabilityfor self-directed work and excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
Musthold permanent residency in the United States (required)
The nature of the work requires an ability tooperate standard business office equipment and the ability to communicate andexchange information collect compile and prepare work documents set-up andmaintain work files. Physical demands include the ability to stand bend reachhigh and low stoop and walk around the classroom 60% of the additioncandidates must be able to lift and/or push and pull 15 to 20lbs. for shortperiods of time and walk up and down stairs several times a day.
Working Conditions
Majority of work performed ina general office requires availability forextended hours plus non-traditional hours required to perform requires participation and attendance atorganization-sponsored events and meetings.
