We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Practice Manager to lead our growing multispecialty surgical outpatient clinics at NWH. This role oversees operations across multiple surgical specialties and two well-established sites on our main campus. As our department continues to evolve were looking for someone agile adaptable to change and eager to grow within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily operations for multiple surgical specialty clinics
Manage and develop a team of 20 FTEs including a supervisor reporting directly to you
Collaborate closely with 12 providers including surgeons and APPs
Partner with clinical leadership to ensure seamless patient care and operational efficiency
Foster strong stakeholder relationships and physician engagement
Navigate and adapt to evolving clinic structures and physical space changes
Champion a culture of continuous improvement and agility
Ensure staff scheduling performance management and team development align with department goals

Qualifications:
Proven experience managing outpatient clinical operations preferably in a surgical setting
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Demonstrated success in managing change and driving growth
Bachelors degree required; healthcare administration or related field preferred

Job Summary

Responsible for small-medium single-site practice or smaller multi-site practices (3 or more locations). Provides direct supervision of the administrative and clinical support staff and operational duties and functions. As a member of the leadership team provides administrative cross coverage to manage staffing and/or operational issues.

Essential Functions

-Oversees the day-to-day administrative performance of secretarial and clinical support staff and manage staff schedules. Evaluates daily staffing needs and coordinates replacement of staff.
-Performs hiring orientation and evaluation of staff. Administers corrective action if appropriate.
-Assists in the career development of practice employees through on-going coaching counseling and training. Ensures all mandatory training is completed by staff and HIPAA policies and procedures are followed by staff. Evaluates develops and implements administrative systems and procedures designed to maximize practice operations. Regularly evaluates and analyzes practice performance metrics. Collaborates with practice leaders on the preparation of the practices annual budgets.
-Oversees the departments payroll including the resolution of payroll issues. Monitors patient billing activity to ensure compliance with revenue procedures. All other duties assigned. Entry Level Manager Role.
