The University of Washington Information School is recruiting iSchool Ph.D students for the Spring 2026 Pre-Doctoral Instructor positions listed below.

Responsibilities may include some or all of the following duties: serve as instructor of record teach the course respond to students needs grade and return assignments in a timely fashion and hold weekly office hours


Pre-doctoral Instructor positions average 20 hours per week which includes attending all classes and holding regular weekly office hours.

Pay:

The salary for these positions will be at least $3797/month. These positions are eligible for tuition waiver and benefits. Questions regarding salary and benefits should be directed to iSchool Human Resources at

  • Enrolled for a minimum of 10 credits during their quarter of appointment
  • Strong interest in working with students having varying skill levels
  • Proficiency in the course content
  • Prior teaching and/or TA experience is preferred
