Job Description
Infosys is seeking a Lead PowerBI Admin- The position will primarily be responsible interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation transition and warranty. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- Experience in managing and optimizing Power BI environments.
- Experience in data security practices and protocols.
- Experience in Performance tuning and optimization of Power BI datasets reports and dashboards
- Experience in Troubleshoot Technical Issues related to Power BI service gateway configurations and data connectivity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in maintain the Power BI ecosystem including infrastructure setup configuration and version upgrades.
- At least 3 years of experience in Implement and manage robust security frameworks including user authentication role-based authorization and data encryption protocols.
- Schedule and automate data refresh cycles and ETL processes to guarantee that datasets are current and reliable.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to gather business intelligence requirements and deliver tailored Power BI solutions that drive strategic insights.
- Experience in developing data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data quality and accuracy is met.
- Experience with development and maintenance of user documentation including data models mapping rules and data dictionaries.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Power BI service gateway configurations and data connectivity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Certifications in Power BI or related technologies are a plus. Key Responsibilities
- Experience in developing data models and mapping rules to transform raw data into actionable insights and reports.
- Experience in collaborating with the analytics and business teams to understand their requirements with cross-functional teams to define and implement data governance policies and standards.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
