Course offerings may vary in the future. Experience teaching and/or working in the business field is highly preferred. This position works primarily with Junior and Senior level students earning college credits while they are in high Regional Center of Technology a secondary career and technical education school is seeking a dynamiccreative instructor to teach Businessto our students in grades 9-12. We are seeking an individual who would contribute to a positive work environment is passionate about teaching and wants to make a difference in students Job Duties:The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:Developing and administeringschool curriculum forAccounting Entrepreneurship and Business Management and Investing and Personal FinanceSales and MarketingConducting ongoing assessments of student learning and modifying instructional methods to fit individual student needs including students with special needsEncouraging parental involvement in students educationFull Job DescriptionQUALIFICATIONS:1. Eligible for appropriate Maine Department of Education certification (898); DOE fingerprinting certification3. Bachelors Degree in Business preferred; MBA or related degree business ownership or financial experience a plus;5. Experience in accounting business management finance and working in the business arena;6. Teaching experience SKILLS1. Enthusiasm and willingness to be creative in executing a business training program for high school students;2. Ability to simulate work environments in a classroom;3. Ability to assist in the coordination of extended learning opportunities for students and commuity;4. Excellent written and communication skills5. Ability to make connections with local businesses andcollege representatives to provide career developmentopportunities for students;6. Coordinates live work projects with classroom work to facilitate meeting goals and objectives of the curriculum.7. Ability and willingness to promote the program and the school to students parentsand other targeted audiences.8.
