SUMMARY: The Yield Technician collects gathers records and relays meaningful yield information to the team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
- Perform various tests as required such as cuticle test bird weights neck length picker tears etc.
- Collect gather and record requested data; turn in results during shift.
- Utilize scissors knives scales thermometers and other measuring devices to obtain and collect data.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Required
- Ability to accurately read scales and measuring devices.
- Ability to read/write English
- Math skills
- Preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous poultry processing experience
