Job Description


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Identifying and Pursuing New Business:
    BDEs proactively seek out and assess new business opportunities through market research networking and lead generation.

  • Building and Maintaining Relationships:
    They establish and nurture strong relationships with potential clients understanding their needs and presenting solutions.

  • Developing and Implementing Sales Strategies:
    BDEs create and execute effective sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand market presence often working towards achieving individual and team targets.

  • Negotiating and Closing Deals:
    They coordinate requirements negotiate contracts and finalize agreements with new clients.

  • Representing the Company:
    BDEs may represent the company at industry events conferences and meetings.

  • Tracking and Reporting:
    They track and analyze sales data report on progress and contribute to the development of business plans.

  • Collaboration:
    BDEs collaborate with various teams including sales marketing and product development to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategies.



Requirements

  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
    Effective communication both written and verbal is crucial for building relationships and presenting solutions.
  • Sales and Negotiation Skills:
    BDEs need strong sales acumen and negotiation skills to close deals and secure new business.
  • Strategic Thinking and Planning:
    They must be able to develop and implement effective business strategies.
  • Relationship Management:
    Building and maintaining strong relationships is essential for long-term success.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:
    BDEs need to analyze market data and identify solutions for potential clients.
  • Time Management and Organization:
    BDEs must manage their time effectively and stay organized to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the Industry and Market:
    A good understanding of the industry and market trends is essential for identifying opportunities and developing effective strategies
