Identify evaluate and select reliable suppliers and vendors based on quality price and delivery performance.
Negotiate contracts terms and pricing agreements with suppliers to ensure cost optimization.
Manage purchase orders track deliveries and ensure timely supply of goods and services.
Conduct market research and analyse trends to forecast future procurement needs.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities supplier contracts and inventory data.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing requirements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Monitor supplier performance and address any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with company policies legal regulations and ethical procurement standards.
Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality and service.
Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field (Master s degree preferred).
Professional certifications such as CIPS CPSM or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement purchasing or supply chain management with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Excellent knowledge of procurement processes inventory control and supply chain principles.
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on cost reduction.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for supplier and stakeholder management.
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements in procurement and contracts.
