Your new job
As a Procurement Specialist within the Category Assembly & Accessories youll play a key role in securing the right suppliers for IKEA Components - today and tomorrow.
Youll build strong relationships and develop both existing and new suppliers always with the goal of achieving the Best Buy for IKEA. That means balancing price quality logistics sustainability and capacity in a smart and strategic way. You approach collaboration with honesty fairness and professionalism challenging and supporting suppliers to grow alongside us. Together we make better products for the many people.
In this role youll help shape strong long-term partnerships with suppliers in the Category Assembly & Accessories. With curiosity and a strategic mindset youll explore the market for smart sourcing opportunities and make thoughtful decisions about starting or ending collaborations. Youll organize RFQs ensure compliance and take the lead when things need to be corrected - always keeping stakeholders informed. By supporting supplier development securing capacity and focusing on lowering total cost youll contribute to a better everyday for the many people.
Qualifications :
What wed like you to bring to the table
To thrive in this role youll bring a mix of hands-on experience a curious mindset and a natural way of working together with others. You understand the purchasing landscape and know how to build strong supplier relationships that support both business goals and IKEA values. Youre confident working with numbers navigating change and communicating with clarity and with a receiver oriented approach.

Understand industry dynamics market conditions and sourcing strategies
Demonstrate strong financial knowledge and negotiation skills
Navigate confidently in a dynamic and flexible business environment
Lead business with a holistic view - always keeping the customer supplier and total IKEA cost in mind
Dare to challenge and be fair with a professional and respectful approach
Its a plus if you also:
Have engineering background or equivalent experience in purchasing or supply chain
Know how to identify and capture business opportunities that drive long-term value
Enjoy building strong relationships and working across functions to reach shared goals
