Job Description
As a Medical Billing Specialist / Claims Processor you will manage and process insurance claims for ABA providers track payments and denials and follow up with insurers to ensure accurate reimbursements. Your expertise will help maintain smooth billing operations resolve discrepancies and support efficient revenue cycles for healthcare services.
Job Overview
Shift: Monday to Friday 09:00 AM 06:00 PM
Your Daily Tasks
- Scrub review and submit claims for ABA providers
- Track claim statuses and remittances
- Work denials and follow up with insurers on unpaid claims proactively
- Manage patient responsibility invoices (e.g. patient co-insurance co-pays)
- Analyze EOBs and post manual payments
Requirements
The Qualifications We Seek
- 3 years of experience in medical billing for commercial and Medicaid insurance plans
- Experience working with electronic medical record / practice management systems
- Experience working with clearinghouses and payor portals
- Knowledge of the denials corrections and appeals process
Plus:
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience in Data Analysis
- Knowledge of SQL particularly in querying data
- Experience in ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis)
Tech Stack: SQL Advanced Excel skills ABA
