Job Description
Do you have a natural knack for working with your hands and troubleshooting mechanical components Join us as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanicin our San Jose CA plant. Youll collaborate with an upbeat hard-working and diverse team to keep our plant running smoothly and continuously improve our machinery and maintenance department! The shift for this position is 7 pm to 7 am with a starting rate of $34.05-$40.93 per hour with up to 3 weeks of vacation upon hire!
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment. At Kellanova we encourage collaboration with other team members to keep production lines running this role you will acquire proficiency in specialized equipment and automation systems all while having the chance to pursue certifications or additional training to further enhance your skills.
A Taste of What Youll Be Doing
- Conducting Preventative Maintenance Perform basic troubleshooting repairs and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment your excellence will be the key to keeping production moving smoothly.
- Ensuring Performance Efficiency Manage machine performance by doing equipment set-up and change-overs. Youll facilitate production and quickly respond to equipment breakdowns.
- Following Best Practices Understand follow and enforce all established guidelines. Your attention to detail will ensure compliance with all safety health quality and company policies procedures and recognized practices.Youll help us keep delivering success one waffle at a time.
Were Looking for Someone With
- High school diploma or GED
- Effective communication interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to sit stand walk lift up to 50 lbs and complete repetitive tasks throughout the day
- Experience with troubleshooting repairs and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipmentin a manufacturing setting
