Compliance Analyst Information Assurance. Middlesborough - 30-50k Car Allowance 5.4k shopping discounts 4% pension 1:30pm finish on Friday
Are you ready to take the next step in your career in compliance and information security We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to gain valuable experience and work with leading industry standards such as GDPR ISO 27001 and other regulatory frameworks.
In this role you will play a crucial part in maintaining and updating compliance-related documentation including policies procedures and guidelines ensuring they are always aligned with regulatory changes. You will also assist in preparing reports and documentation for audits regulatory reviews and management reporting ensuring all deliverables are accurate and timely.
A key focus will be supporting risk assessments and gap analysis to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement helping the organisation address non-compliance issues effectively. You will also contribute to both internal and external audits by gathering and organising evidence tracking findings and managing remediation efforts. Collaboration is at the heart of this role as youll work closely with teams across IT legal and operations to implement compliance initiatives and meet regulatory requirements.
We are looking for someone with excellent analytical skills capable of interpreting complex regulations and policies to support informed decision-making. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential especially when handling compliance documentation and reporting. Strong communication skills are a must as youll need to explain intricate compliance requirements to non-specialist audiences. A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams will be key to your success.
To be considered you should have a solid understanding of information security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 Cyber Essentials Plus and GDPR. Experience in compliance information security or risk management roles is required and prior experience supporting audits would be a distinct advantage.
