Health Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner

Permanent - Full Time Position (Flexible)

Band 6 - starting at $94850.87 super RDO (RDO applicable for full time 38 hours per week only)

We are seeking a safety professional to join our well-established Health Safety & Wellbeing Unit in the People & Culture Branch. Youll have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to community wellbeing. At Yarra we recognise the importance of professional growth and work-life balance. This is an ideal opportunity for a safety professional with 13 years of experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. To support your success the role includes on-the-job learning leadership development opportunities and clear pathways for internal progression.

The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or a related field such as Risk Management along with some relevant experience. Alternatively candidates with less formal qualifications but substantial relevant experience in the field will also be considered. Previous experience as an OHS professionalor in a comparable specialist roleis essential along with a broad range of practical on-the-job experience. A demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders implement effective OHS management systems and manage areas such as injury management and WorkCover claims is also required.
