This position serves as a senior level analyst in the MDHHS Bureau of Grants & Purchasing Grants Division and is responsible for administration of complex revenue agreements to various entities such as local health departments community mental health organizations social services agencies and other community-based organizations which require collaboration with federal entities deciphering a revenue agreement from a grant agreement and/or multiple parties to the agreement. Responsibilities include complex revenue agreements design and report development. This position is responsible for designing an agreement based on the relationship with an outside entity that will be providing MDHHS funding. This includes several requirements such as purpose of agreement statement of work for both the outside agency and MDHHS how the payment will be received duration and frequency etc. review and approval of revenue agreements and development of agreements advance training and technical assistance and other duties as assigned. Advanced training consists of teaching new processes to program offices and the use of new technology for budget and accounting. This position collaborates with legal and compliance to determine if agreements are compliant with federal regulations department policy and state law. This position handles the most complex duties through meeting approved senior standards.

Education
Possession of a bachelors degree in any major.
Experience

Departmental Analyst 10
One year of professionalexperience.
Departmental Analyst P11
Two years of professionalexperience including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
Departmental Analyst 12
Three years of professionalexperience including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.
The physical location of this position isGrand Tower Building 235 S. Grand Ave. Lansing MI.Based on operational needs and within established limits remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered.
Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely and must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
