Job Description

SUMMARY:
The Integrated Co-Occurring Treatment (ICT) Therapist serves as the primary direct service clinician to clients as assigned by the program. The Therapist works with families utilizing the IHBT Model of Treatment to provide support and integrated behavioral health and substance use services through reduction of intensity in emotional symptoms and stressors for the client and the family as well as strengthening interpersonal success and coping skills to help them stay in the home successfully and avoid out-of-home placement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  1. Provide professional clinical services including but not limited to:
    1. Assessments;
    2. Treatment planning;
    3. Individual and family therapy;
    4. Case management;
    5. Crisis work; and
    6. Aftercare planning.
  2. Collaborate with other treatment team members regarding treatment planning progress and ongoing needs in a timely and consistent manner.
  3. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  4. Maintain a full caseload as assigned and meet the departments weekly productivity target.
  5. Maintain a flexible work schedule including some evenings.
  6. Provide 24/7 on-call coverage Monday Friday and on a rotational basis for weekends.
  7. Transport clients as needed for case management or other essential job duties.

OTHER DUTIES:
  1. Attend scheduled staff meetings supervision consultations and on-going training.
  2. All required trainings certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  3. Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the clients treatment. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
  4. Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
  5. Provide back up support to other staff members as directed.
  6. Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Education: Bachelors Degree in Social Work required. Masters Degree in Social Work or Counseling or a Doctoral degree in Psychology preferred.
  2. Licensure:Valid Ohio LSW LPC LMFT or Psychology license required.
  3. Skills:Sensitivity in relating to persons of varying backgrounds and demonstrate ability to work with diverse groups of people possessing various strengths aptitudes and abilities.Perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent oral and written communication skills and effective interpersonal in using Agency computer systems and software to perform essential job functions.
  4. Experience:Culturally competent knowledge of diagnostic assessment treatment planning family systems systems and methods in family therapy group therapy child and adolescent psychotherapy. Demonstrated clinical experience in chemical dependency treatment strongly preferred.Experience with children adolescents and families preferred.
  5. Other:Knowledge of Juvenile Justice System and/or Youth Mental Health System preferred.
  6. Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the Agencys insurance company. Must have reliable personal transportation.

The salary for this position is $60000 per year.
