General Summary:
The Program Manager Senior serves as a key member of the Center for Childhood Resilience (CCR) team in the Pritzker Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Childrens Hospital of Chicago. The Program Manager Senior role provides develops and manages programs and projects including establishing and implementing project management protocols and practices for standardization and ongoing continuous quality improvement managing project resources and supporting administrative operations across portfolio of CCR initiatives. The position actively supports the CCR team Department and Hospital efforts to achieve continuous quality improvement customer service goals through modeling of appropriate behavior and by providing a work environment conducive to attaining these goals.
CCR develops evaluates and disseminates mental health best practices to promote systems change and to increase access and reduce mental health disparities where kids live learn and play. CCR works with education community-based and other youth serving agencies to deliver innovative sustainable culturally attuned and evidence-based strategies promote mental health and wellness and foster resilience in the face of adversity. Essential Job Functions:
- Implements and manages project management processes across all CCR projects including establishing and implementing project management protocols and practices for standardization and ongoing continuous quality improvement.
- Provides project management support including project planning materials goal and deliverable tracking meeting facilitation and notetaking monitoring and reporting of project activities and other related project activities.
- Works with project leads and program finance to develop scope of work and monitor project expenses and budgets. Reports to leadership on status of expenditures on regular basis. Informs leadership of variance situations and engages in activities to resolve questions or concerns.
- Supports a team of project coordinators to successfully implement specific project activities and leverage resources across specific projects.
- Oversee and support CCR administrative functions including general supply inventory supplies professional development expense tracking communications website administration program equipment space allocations knowledge management file management and other related duties.
- Participates in the development of grant proposals and stewardship reports to CCR funders including tracking and monitoring proposal submission and reporting deadlines in collaboration with CCR leads Lurie Childrens Research Administration and Lurie Childrens Foundation.
- Manages tracks and reports on training and new services requests from CCR email website virtual learning platform and other forms of new business inquires communicates with appropriate team members and ensures accurate and timely responses.
- Supports new hire orientation and onboarding efforts
- Perform job functions adhering to organizational values of compassionate service discovery and innovation diversity and inclusion excellence integrity respectful collaboration and stewardship.
- Participates in continuing education events including hospital required education and professional certification/licensure.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Masters Degree required; experience in a complex hospital university or large nonprofit setting highly desirable. Years of experience could be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Three to five years of experience with progressive project leadership preferred.
- Experience in planning program development decision making and project reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects budgets and funding streams.
- Proven experience in planning program development decision making and outcome evaluation.
- Competent in interpersonal/interdisciplinary communication group process facilitation negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Strong analytical interpersonal and oral and written communication skills required.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Experience in planning program development decision making and outcome evaluation.
- Organizational skills: Experience independently planning and managing projects; excellent attention to detail; ability to establish priorities and react promptly to a large variety of requests and needs sometimes on short notice.
- Ability to partner and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams..
- The authority to hire separate promote demote write and administer performance evaluations.
- Comfortable working in shared workspace and multiple locations.
- Demonstrated mastery of Microsoft Office Suite Word TEAMS and other web-based presentation and meeting software; some experience with survey database technologies required.

$83200.00-$137280.00 SalaryAt Lurie Childrens we are committed to competitive and fair compensation aligned with market rates and internal equity reflecting individual contributions experience and expertise. The pay range for this job indicates minimum and maximum targets for the position.
