Primarily responsible for reviewing all charges and fee estimates discussing
payment policy with clients and collecting additional deposits when charges exceed
original fee estimate. Responsible for greeting clinic clients admitting/dismissing
patients and collecting payment for services. Schedules appointments answers
phones and communicates necessary messages to faculty/clinicians.
High school/GED and 1 year of clerical/customer service experience. Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as organization
skills ability to handle/reconcile payments received for services and multi-line phone
skills. Must have MS Office experience.
Eight years experience in a medical or veterinary client service role. Four years
experience in billing/cash handling. Completion of at least two on-campus or online
customer service focused training courses. Certified Veterinary Receptionist (CVR)
from the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA).
Full-Time
