Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Corporate Labor Relations Coordinator supports the Labor Strategy Team in various capacities. This role will involve coordinating meetings preparing documentation and providing support to management on labor-related matters.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain the Labor Strategy database and documentation including the SharePoint site and spreadsheets
  • Track incoming union fund audits and information requests and coordinate with other departments to gather information and ensure timely responses
  • Assist in collective bargaining preparation by gathering and maintaining data for both digital and physical files
  • Coordinate logistics for negotiation meetings including scheduling materials preparation and communication with operations leaders and union representatives
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Two to three years Human Resources or working as an Administrative Assistant (experience in casino industry preferred)
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity and confidentiality in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
  • Proficiency required in Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational and planning skills
  • Must demonstrate high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work collaboratively within team and cross-functionally

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be able to sit stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Respond to visual and aural cues
  • Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing cigarette smoke dust loud noises and bright lights
  • Ability to simultaneously manage several projects and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives
  • Must be able to read write speak and understand English
