Position Summary
Serves as a trusted advisor providing a sounding board to day-to-day issues the mentee may experience on-the-job and provide alternate perspectives on issues.

Mentor Sessions
Must have at least three (3) mentorship sessions with each new hire. Positions less than 6 hours per day must meet at least 1 hour per session. Positions 6 hours or more must meet at least 2 hours per session. A Mentor Log must be completed and submitted upon completion of mentorship period to receive an extra $2.00/hr for being a mentor.
Evaluation
Mentors will be evaluated by mentees as to their effectiveness in the role in order to continue in the role.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit use hands to finger handle or feel; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds of files and materials etc. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus especially due to concentration on a computer screen and small numbers.
