As a Junior Key Account Manager for the Hypers & Showcase channel you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial success across a fast-evolving and high-growth segment of our business. This is a dynamic opportunity to contribute to both strategic and operational account development working directly with key customers to deliver sales targets manage promotions and shape long-term growth plans.
Main Tasks and Accountabilities:
- Customer Orders & Sales Execution: Collaborate closely with buyers external merchandisers and internal customer service teams to secure orders and execute both short- and long-term sales plans. Ensure timely execution of all critical path milestones aligning internal resources to meet customer expectations.
- Forecasting: Utilize internal tools and data sources to manage and refine account forecasts ensuring maximum sales while optimizing inventory management.
- Range Planning: Contribute market-driven insights during VLR presentations helping to develop and implement impactful range plans aligned with the recommendations from the local BA team.
- Promotional Planning & Trade Execution: Lead the end-to-end promotional process from planning through to execution in collaboration with Brand Activation and Sales Support. Take ownership of the promotional budget and drive top-tier in-store and online activations.
- Regular Store/Market Visits: Organize and conduct regular store visits to evaluate execution quality store compliance and monitor competitor activity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments particularly with finance to ensure seamless coordination of accounts receivable (AR) processes while fostering strong internal relationships.
- Strategic Planning: Develop in-depth knowledge of retailer and market dynamics in the toy industry. Lead annual account planning efforts creating long-term strategies that align with our goals for profitable growth.
