Job Summary
As a Medical Laboratory Technician at Aculabs you will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate laboratory testing. You will be responsible for conducting high-complexity testing under the supervision of qualified personnel maintaining instruments and quality control protocols and adhering to all regulatory and HIPAA compliance standards.

Responsibilities
- Perform and monitor high-complexity laboratory testing under CLIA guidelines
- Maintain instruments perform scheduled preventive maintenance and ensure proper documentation
- Monitor quality control procedures to ensure test accuracy and compliance
- Ensure timely processing and completion of patient testing
- Report results following supervisor verification
- Identify and resolve issues that may impact test performance or result reporting
- Maintain accurate records for maintenance quality control and workload
- Communicate with supervisors to report irregularities or performance deviations
Requirements/ Education (Any one of the following will be taken into account)
- Must have an MLT or MT certification (Bachelors in Microbiology/Biology is a plus)
- MD DO DPM with current license in the State of the laboratorys location.
- PhD in Clinical Laboratory Science or another medically similar science field.
- MS in medical technology clinical laboratory science or chemical physical or biological science.
- BS in medical technology clinical laboratory science or chemical physical or biological science.
- AS in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow laboratory protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
