Job Description
Chase Staffing is currently hiring a Water Treatment Technician in the White GA area. The employee would be responsible for Monitoring and managing Water Treatment utilities such as UPW treatment system Si-kerf recycle system Wastewater treatment system water supply system wastewater transfer system and other critical systems including all pumps valves fittings instrumentation piping etc. Ensuring that all systems and equipment are functioning efficiently and performing according to established SOP (Standard Operation Standard) to support the production process. Play a crucial role in maintaining a productive and safe working environment. Maintain equipment records.
Swing Shift: 6:00am 6:30pm OR 6:00pm 6:30am
Schedule: two days on two days off
Pay rate: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Central Monitoring System operation UPW treatment system Si-kerf recycle system Wastewater treatment system water supply system wastewater transfer system and other critical systems including all pumps valves fittings instrumentation piping etc.
- Technicians responding to alarms on site and performing routine tasks to maintain system functionality
- Gas / Chemical loading & unloading
- Waste Chemical unloading
- Water filter replacement Clean in Place (CIP) and Clean Out Place (COP) activities
- Conduct proactive inventory planning to ensure an adequate supply of chemicals for water treatment processes
- Ensuring cleanliness of equipment and facilities areas
- Monitor and adjust chemical treatment processes to meet required effluent standards
- Conduct day-to-day/routine operation and control of utility systems
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Wastewater treatment operation certification approved by the Georgia state regulatory authority
