Job Description
Join our Downer Professional Servicesteam and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australias future.
We currently have an opportunity for aBusiness Support Officer B2B based in Canberra to support a Land project by managing Business to Business processes vendor onboarding and contract governance to enable effective Defence capability delivery.
What Youll Do
This role offers a broad scope with key responsibilities including:
- Lead and support B2B process development and vendor onboarding activities.
- Manage contract deliverables governance meetings and project documentation.
- Provide strategic advice and contribute to project planning and reporting.
- Support complex procurement activities and tender evaluations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance and project success.
What Youll Bring
8 years experience in project/program management ideally in Defence.
Strong communication stakeholder engagement and technical writing skills.
NV1 security clearance and understanding of Defence finance and procurement.
Qualifications in project or contract management (e.g. PMP PRINCE2).
Desirable: Experience with Defence ICT systems CASG projects and FMS processes.
- Currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth.
- In some instances compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may be an inherent requirement.
