Job Description

This is a general posting that will serve to create a pool of applicants for adjunct faculty openings throughout the 2025-2026 academic year. Should we have an opening and be interested in pursuing your application we will contact you with specific information.

Department Summary

The University of Denvers Office for Public Good Strategy and Research (OPG) works to advance institutional readiness for collaboration among students staff faculty and community partners for public good discovery. Public good discovery is the development integration and application of knowledge for collective thriving. The OPG is home to several programs and initiatives that prepare students to contribute to the public good.

Position Summary

The OPG seeks to hire adjunct instructors for Fall Winter and Spring quarters of the 2025-2026 academic year to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses across key programs and initiatives including the Mental Health and Wellness Minor Living and Learning Communities and Collaborative for Mental Health and Wellness. Opportunities depend on department needs. Work Schedule

While the Universitys administrative offices are open Monday Friday 8:00 am 4:30 pm faculty schedules vary from term to term and are based on courses taught service commitments and research agendas. The Universitys academic calendars are posted on the registrars website (the law school is on a semester system and has a different academic calendar).

Course Rate

The course rate for this position is $1290/course credit hour.

The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate departmental budget availability internal salary equity considerations and available market information but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
