Job Description
Job Title: Automation Specialist (Selenium Python and amp; Robot Framework)
Location: Marathahalli Bangalore (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Selenium Python and Robot Framework. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing developing and maintaining automation frameworks for web applications along with experience in CI/CD integration. This role also requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients and stakeholders in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium Python and Robot Framework.
Build and enhance robust automation frameworks and reusable components.
Collaborate with developers QA engineers product teams and clients to define automation requirements.
Execute automated test cases analyze results and report defects.
Integrate automation testing with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitHub Actions etc.).
Maintain test environments and troubleshoot automation failures.
Communicate effectively with clients providing regular updates clarifications and technical insights.
Document automation processes test strategies and best practices.
Required Skills and amp; Qualifications:
2 years of professional experience in automation testing with Selenium WebDriver Python and Robot Framework.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and scripting principles.
Hands-on experience building automation frameworks and libraries in Robot Framework.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps.
Proficiency with version control systems (Git SVN).
Knowledge of API testing (Postman REST Assured) is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven client-facing experience.
Strong analytical debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack Sauce Labs).
Knowledge of performance and security testing methodologies.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Education and amp; Experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in automation testing.
Compensation and amp; Work Schedule:
Package: 4 7 LPA (Based on Experience and amp; Skills).
Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday 10:30 AM 7:30 PM (Alternative Saturdays Working).
