Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 (37.5 Hours Per Week)

Location: Edwardsville Campus (Fully Onsite - 5 Days Per Week)

To build on a strong foundation of achievement and contribute to the realization of its ambitious institutional goals Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) invites applications for the position of Talent Acquisition Partner (CS26-027).

The Talent Acquisition Partner is a full life cycle recruiter responsible for pro-actively sourcing highly qualified candidates using innovative techniques and strategies that include but not limited to direct sourcing talent market research social network mediums job boards referrals university relations and attending networking events.

This role will work closely with hiring managers to implement new recruiting processes and provide advice on recruitment best practices to ensure candidate applications meet the quality requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Understand and convey the SIUE mission and employer brand during all interactions with internal and external constituencies.
  • Meet with hiring managers to assess candidate needs
  • Coordinate the job posting of all positions on various job boards and within applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Assist search committees to ensure an effective and legally defensible recruitment and selection process (provide advice and guidance related to interview process offer process and all applicable and required documentation etc.)
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and applicable data to determine to evaluate recruitment strategies resources and tools etc.
  • Serves as back up to staff coordinating new employee orientation and conducting onboarding for new hires
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resource Administration Management Organizational Administration Public Administration Labor Relations Business Administration or a field closely related to the position
  • 2 years of full life cycle recruiting experience
  • 2 years of work experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) sourcing tools (LinkedIn Indeed etc.) networking talent market research and other industry standard talent acquisition tools
  • Years can be concurrent
