Join Yokogawa Australia as a Principal Engineer Project Implementation & Operation and play a key role in delivering high-quality control systems engineering solutions across complex projects. This senior technical role is ideal for a highly experienced engineer with a passion for innovation mentoring and driving continuous improvement.

About the Role

As a Principal Engineer youll lead and oversee the technical delivery of automation and control system projects ensuring alignment with global engineering standards. You will be instrumental in planning and executing high-impact engineering strategies managing technical quality and supporting project teams through your expert guidance and knowledge-sharing.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the technical quality and execution of control systems delivery.

• Lead the design and implementation of complex control safety and electrical systems.

• Provide direction and mentorship to engineers collaborating with Project Managers and Lead Engineers.

• Drive continuous improvement and innovation across project teams and engineering delivery.

• Act as a senior technical advisor to internal teams clients and third parties.

• Champion engineering excellence across all stages of project execution.

What Were Looking For

• Minimum 10 years in automation or industrial control systems engineering.

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering.

• Registered on or eligible for the National Engineering Register (NER).

• At least 5 years in a technical leadership role.

• Deep technical expertise and a strong track record in project execution.

• Confident in assessing complex engineering issues and providing sound guidance.

• Innovative thinker with a continuous improvement mindset.

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
