Job Description
What will you be doing
We are looking for an experienced Siemens NX Design Engineer to join a high-profile nuclear programme contributing to the development of complex mechanical systems through expert-level design strategies and PLM configuration. This is a key role in supporting the design lifecycle using Siemens NX and Teamcenter in a highly regulated environment.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Lead the development of mechanical design solutions using Siemens NX
- Configure and manage design workflows and data within Teamcenter PLM
- Define and apply robust design strategies and standards across large-scale engineering assemblies
- Provide guidance on best practices for modelling drawing creation and digital mock-up (DMU)
- Support the integration of mechanical components within broader system designs
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure alignment of design activities
- Ensure all design work adheres to relevant regulatory and project-specific requirements
Who are we looking for
- Extensive hands-on experience with Siemens NX (modelling drafting assemblies)
- Strong working knowledge of Teamcenter PLM (configuration workflows data management)

Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering Product Design or a related discipline
- Experience working in a highly regulated or safety-critical industry (e.g. nuclear aerospace defence)
- Proven ability to manage large assemblies and complex product structures
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with othe
