This is considered a heavy industrial position
Must be ok with working lots of over-time including Saturdays if needed hours are normally 8am-6/7pm Most weeks the person can work 45-60/70 hours per week
Someone that has worked in Food manufacturing/Food warehouse experience with (GMPS are a huge plus)
$16.00 PER HOUR TO Start. There is room for lots of over-time and there is growth potential
Possibly $16.50 if the person has forklift experience
The Production Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of production line jobs and warehouse functions in safe and efficient manner in a clean indoor food production facility. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): supporting planning organizing and controlling production with a goal of increasing efficiency quality and productivity ensuring a uniform method of receiving and handling bulk oil to verify that the material received matches the ingredient ordered to maintain the purity of ingredients during unloading and routing.
Responsibilities:
Arrive to work on time and work during scheduled hours working additional overtime as needed
Maintain good personal hygiene. Wear designated uniform maintained in good
conditionWear Personal Protective Equipment as required
Perform all work activities in a safe manner. Maintain a safe and clutter free work area Clean up all spills immediately
Efficiently and safely operate assigned machinery
Place production orders from customers
Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
Follow all procedures adhering to all safety policies and procedures
Assist with inventory process as requested
Work cooperatively and efficiently with coworkers in all departments with little supervision to achieve team department and company goals
Complete production assignments in a timely manner and in accordance with departmental schedules. Position may require working alternate hours or weekends to meet customer delivery requirements.
Examine products to verify quality and consistency.
Perform quick and efficient changeovers to limit downtime.
Clean equipment following completion of production cycle.
Ability to walk stand crouch bend kneel lift carry and reach as needed.
Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.

Qualifications:
Bilingual Spanish and English
Have a High School diploma or equivalent.
Forklift Experience Preferred

Must possess common sense positive attitude and demonstrate excellent attendance
Must be quality and safety conscious a team player
Must be able to work quickly with product and able to lift 50 pounds
Must have excellent manual dexterity and be able to concentrate for sustained periods
Must have good communication skills and be able to interact with people
Must be able to work with extensive standing frequent bending lifting pulling pushing reaching twisting and walking
Schedule:
8-12 hour shift
Monday thru Friday 8am to 6pm/7pm(may need to come in early if needed)
Overtime
Saturdays occasionally
