Who are we looking for
Reporting to the global Chief Legal Officer the Head of Compliance will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the enterprise compliance function for GHD. The role will see you identifying assessing and mitigating the enterprise legal regulatory and privacy compliance risks.
You will shape drive and advise the business on regulatory and legal compliance initiatives.

- Effectively implement and enhance GHDs legal and regulatory compliance and privacy strategy.
- Provide strategic advice and pragmatic solutions to senior management on compliance-related matters.
- Through insights analysis and keeping current on industry regulations and best practice identify and assess enterprise compliance risks implement effective controls and mitigation strategies and provide recommendations for corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Implement robust monitoring and reporting systems for compliance metrics.
- Lead internal investigations related to compliance matters and ensure effective incident reporting resolution and implementation of improvement strategies.
- Function as a point of contact for regulatory bodies.
- Partner with the enterprise learning team to deliver effective compliance and education programs to promote awareness and understanding of compliance and privacy across GHD.
- Effectively communicate compliance priorities across Business and Functional teams enterprise wide.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelors degree in law Jurisprudence Business or related fields
- 8-10 years experience in similar roles within an international organisation.
- Experience in compliance leadership including completing enterprise-wide legal & regulatory compliance risk assessments.
- Experience and strong expertise in designing implementing and embedding compliance framework practices and programs in multi-disciplinary organisation.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of international regulatory frameworks such as GDPR FCPA UK Bribery Act.
- Strong influencing interpersonal skills and experience in liaising with a multi-cultural stakeholder group and presenting at the C-suite executive level.
- Experience in managing competing demands in collaboration with key stakeholders across multiple functions businesses and regions.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity with confidence ensuring timely and strategic decision-making that supports organisational goals.
- Proven project management and leadership experience.
