About the Role
Our client focused on National Security is seeking a Network Administrator with a current Positive Vetting security clearance (PV). for a 12-month contract (with extension options) to be based in Canberra (ACT).
The successful candidate will work as a Network Administrator under broad direction from the client and will be responsible for a range of activities contributing to the design build test and operation of ICT systems and network services to support the delivery of modern mobility solutions for senior government officials.
Key duties:
- Carry out consolidation of legacy networks onto the current ASD baseline network architecture through the provision of configuration implementation documentation and post-installation activities.
- Undertake network installations in accordance with detailed design documentation and guidance.
- Operate and troubleshoot network hardware including switches routers Firewalls gateways and wireless equipment (Palo-Alto technologies SILICONROAD).
- Handle TCP/IP DNS and DHCP network topology tasks.
