We are looking for a Linux system administrator to join our team proficient in general systems administration particularly in managing high-traffic in-house web applications within a LAMP (Linux Apache MySQL PHP) environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity for everyone with deep technical expertise excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced technology-driven company. Tasks
- Build and maintenance of production infrastructure (configuration management troubleshooting software updates improvements)
- Monitoring of all our systems such as Nagios and diverse email/SMS notifications
- Database and web server administration preferably MySQL and Apache/Nginx
- Analysis of our system including security performance and capacity
- Site Reliability Management
- Participation in rotational on-call duty
- Expertise in KVM/libvirt based Linux virtualization
- Familiarity with build and provisioning tools like Terraform and Ansible
- Create and upkeep relevant documentation
- Experience in information security data privacy programming (Python) and networking would be beneficial
- You appreciate understanding processes and collaborating within a team while also valuing service and maintaining a customer-focused approach
- Collaborate closely with development and internal Office IT teams to ensure smooth integration and operational efficiency of applications and services for our customers
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in IT Computer Science or related fields
- 5 years of relevant work experience aligned with the job description
- Strong ability to work independently and with a structured approach
- Proficiency in English
