The Salt Lake Temple Celebration Intern is designed to provide meaningful experience in project coordination communications and cross-functional collaboration while contributing to the preparations for the Salt Lake Temple Celebration. This role will be a major contributor to the success of internal systems and volunteer engagement.
Maintain master event calendar and update with evolving experiences
Develop operations brief for volunteer home base
Coordinate process for volunteer help desks
Coordinate headset plan (order distribute cleaning etc.)
Support marketing manager write copy manage asset process coordinate workflow
PowerPoint support for the team
Manage print and design list through workflow processes
Help organize meetings with area teams
Compile and manage app and website content (from other departments)
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications Business Administration Marketing Event Management or a related field.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially PowerPoint and Excel.
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Trello Asana or similar) is a plus.
Interest in operations volunteer coordination or marketing is highly desirable.
