We are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to support the Corporate Resources Department.
About the Role
As a Management Accountant you will be an important member of the Environment & Transport and Corporate Resources Finance Business Partner Team that provides financial management support and business advice to service departments whilst ensuring strong and sustainable links are maintained with the Corporate Centre. The role will focus on the delivery of accurate timely and relevant financial information to Senior Managers including financial reporting and analysis financial planning and submissions to government or partner organisations.
The role is also an exciting opportunity to play an active part in identifying options that can be taken to optimise short and long-term financial performance and service delivery (efficiency).
About You
This post is Grade 11 (pay award pending) with the opportunity for post holders committed to work towards a CCAB or equivalent qualification; or already studying towards a CCAB or equivalent qualification; to progress onto Grade 12 (42498 - 46344 pay award pending) upon qualifying and demonstrating a number of skills and competencies.
To apply for this role at Grade 11 you must:
Hold an NVQ level 4 in a relevant area and Membership of AAT or equivalent
Have proven ability to:
To progress to Grade 12 you must:
Hold a CCAB or equivalent qualification OR
Have demonstrable experience of working at Grade 12 (as stated below) in a Finance function with a commitment to working towards a CCAB or equivalent qualification
Have a proven ability to meet the Grade 11 criteria (as outlined above) AND:
You must also have an understanding of and commitment toequality diversity and inclusion.
In addition we also expect you to shareour commitment to our valuesand will ask you to provide evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the selection process.
